October 20, 2019 - The Philippine Dental Association together with the Philippine Dental Care Specialist Center, Advance Pharma Distribution Corp, The Rotary Club of Cebu South and the Department of Health collaborated with Gothong Southern Foundation Inc to conduct their simultaneous tree planting activity for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao at Brgy. Sunog, Balamban Cebu as well as its first ever Dental Mission for the students of Cambagocboc Elementary School.
The 250 elementary students were able to receive free toothbrush and toothpaste, free dental check-up, free fluoride treatment, free oral prophylaxis, free cavity filling and free tooth extraction.
All the dentists, volunteers, teachers and students enjoyed a delicious lunch all together at the school grounds with a boodle fight. The dental mission was closed off with a Memorandum of Agreement signing between the Philippine Dental Association, Gothong Southern Foundation, Cambagocboc Elementary School and Barangay Sunog, Balamban Cebu agreeing to continue their dental mission for the students of Cambagocboc Elementary School until October 20, 2022.
