The USC Psychology Department together with Gothong Southern Foundation held our first ever Job Preparation Workshop for the Graduating Students of Don Carlos A. Gothong Memorial National Highschool with 305 students in participation.
The morning was filled with learning as the facilitators shared some tips to ace a job interview. The seminar tackled the difference between school and working full time, what to prepare for a job interview, how to dress appropriately for a job interview, how to handle rejections, and how to make a resume and cover letter.
The afternoon workshop was the highlight of this activity as the students experienced how it is to be interviewed by professionals from the USC Psychology Department and HR Representatives from Gothong Southern Shipping Lines Inc thru a mock job interview. We are absolutely delighted to have made an impact in their lives thru this activity.
